How to Make Bulletproof Coffee

Making bulletproof coffee is incredibly easy and for something so powerful, I'm certain that you'll be making this daily once you've tried it. To make it, you'll just need a premium coffee, grass-fed butter, and MCT oil (or a high quality organic coconut oil). Make about 2 cups of coffee and pour into a preheated blender (you can preheat it by running it under hot water in the sink). The next step is to throw in about 2 tablespoons of MCT oil with about 1 to 2 tablespoons of high quality butter (I recommend Kerrygold unsalted grass-fed butter). Blend it all and you should end up with a somewhat frothy, latte like drink! Pretty easy eh?

Note: If your regular diet doesn't consist of high levels of fat, you'll get an upset stomach the first few times you try this. If you're concerned about this, lower the dosage butter/MCT oil for the first few weeks and work your way up. Dave Asprey (the genius behind the Bulletproof coffee) uses up to 4 tablespoons of butter per 2 cups of coffee! Everyone's body is different so you'll need to test and experiment with the ratios at first.

To get the most from your bulletproof coffee, it's imperative that you use quality product. I've tried it with cheap butter/oil/coffee and although it still had a positive effect on my energy/mood, it was nothing compared to when I've used quality product. I've read comments about how some people have likened bulletproof coffee to Provigil (Modafinil)(a powerful pharmaceutical prescription nootropic(brain booster)) without the negative side effects.
